It started at Hudson Grille in Midtown. Enjoying a spontaneous lunch date with my hubby tucked in a booth and the place was jumping because it was March Madness, Duke and UCF were playing in this heavy battle (mind you I had no clue of what was going on the hubby was filling me 😂😬) and the atmosphere was electric. I turn and look up and saw this cute couple sitting slightly above us. I spoke and continued to eat my warm and savory crab dip (Y’all it was sooo good). Anywho, a play was made and Corrie and I high fived each other in excitement! I slid over my card and said, “If you ever need any couple portraits done, I’d love to capture you guys, you’re so adorable.” Little did I know, Corrie recently popped the question and they were looking for someone to do their engagement photos. Both Rachel and Corrie stated that they wanted to find someone organically, that just “felt right”. We spoke a little bit after that and said they would be in touch.
So fast forward to a few days ago on a very warm Sunday morning, Rachel and Corrie came with their silly, fun-loving and easy going personalities to knock their engagement session right out. By the end of our time together we were drenched had lots of laughs and here is a little taste of their love.
Being able to capture precious family moments is a real treat for me. The Watson’s were so sweet and adorable and easy going. Baby Cody was so perfect and chunky (I love a good solid baby🥰)! Here are a few intimate moments from their lifestyle session.
They were such an adorable couple. I was inspired instantly by them and their love within a few moments of hanging with them, I knew that it was gonna be special. They are both in school one becoming an engineer and the other an English major. They’ve know each other for 8 yrs and never had any professional images done. Now was the time to let loose. Avery being the sweet bashful guy and Tatiana being flirty and outgoing, their shoot was so effortless, everything flowed naturally and beautifully. Here’s a little sneak on how the love and fun unfolded.
From the moment, LaSandra and I connected on the phone and about an hour and a half later, everything was go! We chatted and laughed like we’ve known each other for years. They live in South Carolina and were getting married in Treasure Island, Florida. I could tell their wedding day would be something special and I was honored that she chose me to document their story. This couple was truly amazing❤️ you could feel the warmth, love, and genuine friendship these two have for one another. Their support system around them was magical! They gave me goosebumps and the presence of the Lord was not to be denied that day honey! Prayers were answered for the weather to hold up (because we were looking at being washed out with 70% chance of rain). The setting was completed with simple, sweet details and THEIR LOVE was the main attraction. They danced the night away and was saluted off to their happily ever after by the loud resounding of cheers and well wishes. I introduce to you, the Hubbards.
